Reorganizing the Committee on Internal Rules of the Supreme Court

SUPREME COURT MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 40-11
REORGANIZING THE COMMITTEE ON INTERNAL RULES OF THE SUPREME COURT
WHEREAS, under Section 3, Rule 1 of the Internal Rules of the Supreme Court, a Committee on Rules shall be established which shall ensure, through appropriate recommendation to the Court en banc, that the Rules are kept current and responsive to the needs of the Court and the public it serves;
WHEREAS, there is a need to reorganize the Committee in view of the retirement of its Chairman, former Associate Justice Antonio Eduardo B. Nachura on June 10, 2011;
WHEREAS, the members of the Court have by consensus chosen Associate Justice Roberto A. Abad to serve as Chairman of the Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Committee on Internal Rules is hereby reorganized to be composed of the following: SECAHa

The Chairperson, Members and Secretariat shall each be entitled to the expense allowance prescribed in Administrative Circular No. 13-99 dated September 20, 1999.
This Memorandum Order shall take effect upon its issuance.
