An Act Separating the Valladolid National High School Extension in the Municipality of Carcar, Province of Cebu, from the Valladolid National High School and Converting It into an Independent National High School to Be Known as the Carcar Central I National High School, and Appropriating Funds Therefor
Republic Act No. 8733, enacted on August 29, 1998, establishes the Carcar Central I National High School by separating it from the Valladolid National High School Extension in Carcar, Cebu. The Act mandates the transfer of all personnel, assets, liabilities, and records from the Valladolid National High School Extension to the new school. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports is responsible for issuing necessary regulations to implement the Act. Funding for the school's operations will be derived from the current year's appropriations and included in future General Appropriations Acts. AN ACT SEPARATING THE VALLADOLID NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL EXTENSION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CARCAR, PROVINCE OF CEBU, FROM THE VALLADOLID NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE CARCAR CENTRAL I NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Valladolid National High School Extension in Barangay Carcar Central, Municipality of Carcar, Province of Cebu, is hereby separated from the Valladolid National High School in the Municipality of Carcar and converted into an independent national high school to be known as the Carcar Central I National High School.
SECTION 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
SECTION 3. All personnel, assets and liabilities and records of the Valladolid National High School Extension are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Carcar Central I National High School.
SECTION 4. The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Valladolid National High School — Carcar Central I Annex. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the Carcar Central I National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
