REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8711

AN ACT SEPARATING THE SALVACION HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PILAR, PROVINCE OF SORSOGON, FROM THE PILAR PRODUCTIVITY HIGH SCHOOL, AND CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE SALVACION NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1.  The Salvacion High School Annex in Barangay Salvacion in the Municipality of Pilar, Province of Sorsogon, is hereby separated from the Pilar Productivity High School in the Municipality of Pilar, and converted into an independent national high school to be known as the Salvacion National High School.

SECTION 2.  The Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.

SECTION 3.  All personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Salvacion High School Annex are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Salvacion National High School.

SECTION 4.  The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Pilar Productivity Development High School-Salvacion Annex. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the Salvacion National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 5.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval. prcd
