An Act Converting the La Salvacion High School in Barangay Salvacion, Municipality of Tigaon, Province of Camarines Sur, into a National High School to be Known as the La Salvacion National High School and Appropriating Funds Therefor
Republic Act No. 8850, enacted on August 22, 2000, converts La Salvacion High School in Barangay Salvacion, Tigaon, Camarines Sur, into a national high school, now known as La Salvacion National High School. The act mandates the Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports to implement its provisions. Funding necessary for this conversion will be included in the General Appropriations Act for the following year. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on March 5, 2001.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8850
AN ACT CONVERTING THE LA SALVACION HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY SALVACION, MUNICIPALITY OF TIGAON, PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE LA SALVACION NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The La Salvacion High School in Barangay Salvacion, Municipality of Tigaon, Province of Camarines Sur is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the La Salvacion National High School. TcEAIH
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) is hereby directed to implement the provisions of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
