Republic Act No. 9686, enacted on August 4, 2009, designates the road stretching from Barangay Bagatangki in Malinao, Albay, to Barangay Anawan in Ocampo, Camarines Sur, as the Gov. Felix O. Alfelor Sr. National Highway. The highway also passes through various barangays, including those in the Municipality of Buhi and the City of Iriga. The Department of Public Works and Highways is tasked with issuing the necessary regulations to implement this naming. The law takes effect 15 days after its publication in a widely circulated newspaper.

AN ACT NAMING THE ROAD FROM BARANGAY BAGATANGKI, MUNICIPALITY OF MALINAO, PROVINCE OF ALBAY TO BARANGAY SAN RAMON, CITY OF IRIGA, UP TO BARANGAY ANAWAN IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF OCAMPO, PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR AS THE GOV. FELIX O. ALFELOR SR. NATIONAL HIGHWAY
SECTION 1. The road which stretches from Barangay Bagatangki in the Municipality of Malinao, Province of Albay to Barangay Macaangay and passes through barangays Poblacion and Burocbusoc in the Municipality of Buhi to Barangay San Ramon, City of Iriga and ends at Barangay Anawan in the Municipality of Ocampo, Province of Camarines Sur is hereby named as the Gov. Felix O. Alfelor Sr. National Highway. DHCSTa
SECTION 2. The Department of Public Works and Highways shall issue the necessary rules, orders and circulars to implement the provision of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
