REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8879

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MIAG-AO, PROVINCE OF ILOILO TO BE NAMED AS THE MIAG-AO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, a national high school in the Municipality of Miag-ao, Province of Iloilo to be known as the Miag-ao National High School. ASHEca

SECTION 2. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall take the necessary steps for the establishment of the school so as to make it operational during the first term after the effectivity of this Act.

SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. acAIES

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
