An Act Establishing a National Comprehensive High School in the Municipality of Dumangas, Province of Iloilo to be Known as the Dumangas National High School and Appropriating Funds Therefor
Republic Act No. 8886 establishes the Dumangas National High School in the Municipality of Dumangas, Iloilo, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports. The school will be located within the Dumangas Polytechnic College compound but will operate independently. The Secretary of Education is tasked with creating the necessary rules for the Act's implementation. Funding for the school's establishment will be included in the General Appropriations Act following the law's enactment. The Act took effect upon its approval on August 22, 2000.

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DUMANGAS, PROVINCE OF ILOILO TO BE KNOWN AS THE DUMANGAS NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports a comprehensive national high school in the Municipality of Dumangas, Province of Iloilo to be known as the Dumangas National High School. HaTISE
SECTION 2. The site of said comprehensive national high school shall be located within the compound of the Dumangas Polytechnic College. It is fully understood that said comprehensive national high school shall be separate and independent from the Dumangas Polytechnic College.
SECTION 3. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of this Act.
SECTION 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. acHITE
SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
