Republic Act No. 8895, enacted on August 22, 2000, establishes the Marag Valley Agricultural and Trade High School in Marag Valley, Province of Apayao. This national high school will provide secondary education and vocational courses as authorized by the Secretary of the Department of Education, in coordination with TESDA and other relevant agencies. The Department of Education is tasked with formulating necessary rules and regulations for the implementation of the Act. Funding for the school will be included in the General Appropriations Act of the following year and beyond. The Act took effect upon its approval.

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AT MARAG VALLEY, PROVINCE OF APAYAO TO BE KNOWN AS THE MARAG VALLEY AGRICULTURAL AND TRADE HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established a national high school at Marag Valley, Province of Apayao to be known as the Marag Valley Agricultural and Trade High School. DaHcAS
SECTION 2. The school shall offer secondary education proper as well as other vocational courses to carry out its objectives as may be authorized by the Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports and in coordination with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and other appropriate offices and agencies.
SECTION 3. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
SECTION 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. ITDSAE
SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
