An Act Converting the Municipal Dolores National High School in Barangay Talogtog, Municipality of Dolores, Province of Abra, into a National High School, and Appropriating Funds Therefor
Republic Act No. 8695, enacted on July 9, 1998, converts the municipal Dolores National High School in Barangay Talogtog, Municipality of Dolores, Abra, into a nationally funded institution named Rosalio Eduarte National High School. The school will operate under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, which is tasked with issuing necessary regulations for its implementation. Funding for this conversion will be included in the General Appropriations Act for the subsequent year and beyond. The Act took effect immediately upon its approval, as it lapsed into law without the President's signature.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE MUNICIPAL DOLORES NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY TALOGTOG, MUNICIPALITY OF DOLORES, PROVINCE OF ABRA, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The municipal government-funded Dolores National High School in Barangay Talogtog, Municipality of Dolores, Province of Abra, is hereby converted, under the direct supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, into a nationally funded high school, to be known as the Rosalio Eduarte National High School.
SECTION 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following is enactment into law and thereafter.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
