An Act Converting the Hinolaso Municipal High School in the Municipality of Dolores, Province of Eastern Samar into a National High School and Appropriating Funds Therefor

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8838

AN ACT CONVERTING THE HINOLASO MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DOLORES, PROVINCE OF EASTERN SAMAR INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The Hinolaso Municipal High School in the Municipality of Dolores, Province of Eastern Samar is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Hinolaso National High School.

SECTION 2. The national high school shall offer general secondary education proper. It shall also offer techno-vocational course and offer relevant courses to cultivate technical and vocational skills of the youth.

SECTION 3. All personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Hinolaso Municipal High School shall be transferred to and absorbed by the Hinolaso National High School. caEIDA

SECTION 4. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the necessary rules and regulations for the effective conversion and operation of the school.

SECTION 5. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. aIHCSA

SECTION 6. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
