An Act Converting the Hinolaso Municipal High School in the Municipality of Dolores, Province of Eastern Samar into a National High School and Appropriating Funds Therefor
Republic Act No. 8838, enacted on August 22, 2000, converts the Hinolaso Municipal High School in Dolores, Eastern Samar, into the Hinolaso National High School. This new national high school will provide general secondary education and techno-vocational courses aimed at enhancing the technical and vocational skills of the youth. All existing personnel, assets, liabilities, and records from the municipal high school will be transferred to the national high school. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports is tasked with establishing the necessary regulations for its operation, with funding to be included in the General Appropriations Act following the law's enactment. The Act took effect upon its approval.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE HINOLASO MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DOLORES, PROVINCE OF EASTERN SAMAR INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Hinolaso Municipal High School in the Municipality of Dolores, Province of Eastern Samar is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Hinolaso National High School.
SECTION 2. The national high school shall offer general secondary education proper. It shall also offer techno-vocational course and offer relevant courses to cultivate technical and vocational skills of the youth.
SECTION 3. All personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Hinolaso Municipal High School shall be transferred to and absorbed by the Hinolaso National High School. caEIDA
SECTION 4. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the necessary rules and regulations for the effective conversion and operation of the school.
SECTION 5. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. aIHCSA
SECTION 6. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
