An Act Converting the Bilar High School, Municipality of Bilar, Province of Bohol into a National High School to be Known as the Bilar National High School, Appropriating Funds Therefor and for Other Purposes
Republic Act No. 8865, enacted on August 22, 2000, converts Bilar High School in Bohol into a national high school, now named Bilar National High School. This conversion places the school under the direct supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports. The Secretary of the Department is tasked with issuing necessary rules and regulations for the implementation of the Act. Funding for this initiative will be included in the General Appropriations Act for the subsequent year and beyond. The Act took effect upon its approval.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8865
AN ACT CONVERTING THE BILAR HIGH SCHOOL, MUNICIPALITY OF BILAR, PROVINCE OF BOHOL INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE BILAR NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SECTION 1. The Bilar High School of the Municipality of Bilar, Province of Bohol is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Bilar National High School under the direct supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports. aSDHCT
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
