Conversion of Bilar Rural High School in Bohol into Bohol National Agricultural School

Republic Act No. 2793, enacted on June 19, 1960, converts the Bilar Rural High School in Bohol into the Bohol National Agricultural School, modeled after the Baybay National Agricultural School. The school will be under the leadership of a Superintendent of Agricultural Instruction, with the Secretary of Education authorized to reorganize it accordingly. To support this transition, an appropriation of one hundred thousand pesos from the National Treasury is authorized. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette in February 1961.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2793

AN ACT TO CONVERT THE BILAR RURAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BILAR, PROVINCE OF BOHOL, INTO A REGIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL OF THE BAYBAY NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL TYPE, TO BE KNOWN AS THE BOHOL NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF THE NECESSARY FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The Bilar Rural High School located in the Municipality of Bilar, Province of Bohol, is hereby converted into a regional agricultural school of the Baybay National Agricultural School type, to be known as the Bohol National Agricultural School and to be headed by a Superintendent of Agricultural Instruction. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.

SECTION 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, as additional appropriation to carry out the provisions of this Act. aisa dc

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
