Amendments to LOI No. 1099 (January 5, 1981)

LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 1113

WHEREAS, a pool of project managers and project engineers in each Ministry was ordered created under Letter of Instructions No. 1099 for the professionalization of such positions and to insure optimum use of available managerial and technical skills; and casia

WHEREAS, there may be a need to avail of expertise of other personnel from government-owned or controlled corporations who may contribute to the successful implementation of projects;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, hereby order and instruct the following:

1. Section 3.2 of Letter of Instructions No. 1099 is hereby amended to read as follows: aisa dc

"3.2 Project Managers/Engineers shall be given permanent items even if the project they are assigned at any one time have a definite completion date: Provided, however, That for projects executed for and in behalf of government-owned or controlled corporations, the pool of project Managers/Engineers may be augmented by the details of qualified personnel from the said corporations."

2. This Letter of Instructions shall be effective immediately.
