Amendment to Proclamation No. 875, s. 1996
Proclamation No. 1657, issued on October 28, 2008, amends Proclamation No. 875 from 1996, designating a specific parcel of land in Barangay Magsaysay, Saguday, Quirino, as the site for the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters. This land, measuring approximately 500 square meters, is withdrawn from public entry, sale, or disposition, making it non-alienable until a future proclamation declares it otherwise. The proclamation is signed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, affirming the land’s reservation for governmental use. All existing private rights are acknowledged, if any exist.

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 875, SERIES OF 1996, RESERVING A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SEGREGATING A PORTION THEREOF AND RESERVING THE SAME AS SITE OF THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE (PNP) SITUATED AT BARANGAY MAGSAYSAY, MUNICIPALITY OF SAGUDAY, PROVINCE OF QUIRINO, ISLAND OF LUZON
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, disposition or settlement and reserve for Headquarters/Office site purposes of the Philippine National Police of Saguday, Quirino, subject to private rights, if any there be, a parcel of land more particularly described as follows: ESCTaA

A PARCEL OF LAND (Lot No. 25798-A, Block 18, Csd-AF-02-002315-A, which is equivalent to Lot 66964, Cad. 211, being a portion of Lot 25798, Cad. 211 as surveyed for Philippine National Police, situated in Barangay Magsaysay, Municipality of Saguday, Province of Quirino, Island of Luzon.
Bounded on the N., along line 1-2 by Lot 25798-B; on the E., along line 2-3 by Calle Espiritu; on the S and W., along line 3-4-1 by Lot 25798-B all of the subdivision plan Csd-AF-02-002319-D.
Beginning at point marked "1" on plan being S. 29-45'E., 521.77m from BLLM No. 114, Cad. 211, thence:
N. 85-20'E., 14.50m. to point 2;
S. 02-13'W., 36.91m. to point 3;
S. 85-58'W., 12.81m. to point 4;
N. 00-23'W., 36.60m. to point of beginning;
containing an area of FIVE HUNDRED (500) SQUARE METERS, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on plan and are marked on the ground by PS cyl. conc. mons. 15 x 40 cms. in diameter. The tracts of land herein reserved shall be non-alienable and shall not be subject to occupation, entry, sale, lease, or other disposition until again declared as alienable by proclamation of the President.
