Amendment to M.C. No. 103 s. 2006 Re: National Summit of the Bagong Usbong na Lingkod Bayan
Memorandum Circular No. 106, issued on July 25, 2006, amends the previous Memorandum Circular No. 103 from July 11, 2006. It authorizes the payment of traveling expenses and a registration fee of Php 3,000.00 for participants officially approved by their agency heads to attend the National Summit of the Bagong Usbong na Lingkod Bayan scheduled for October 25-28, 2006. This authorization is contingent on the availability of funds and adherence to standard accounting and auditing procedures. All department heads, local executives, members of Congress, and judiciary representatives are encouraged to participate in the summit. The circular takes effect immediately.

MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 106
AMENDING MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 103 DATED 11 JULY 2006
Pursuant to the recommendation of the Civil Service Commission in its Announcement No. 23 (s. 2006) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government in its Memorandum Circular No. 2006-68, Memorandum Circular No. 103 dated 11 July 2006 is hereby amended to include that payment of applicable traveling expenses and registration fee of Three Thousand Pesos (Php 3,000.00) per participant of all those officially approved by their heads of agencies to attend the National Summit of the Bagong Usbong na Lingkod Bayan on 25-28 October 2006 is hereby authorized, subject to the availability of funds of the concerned departments and agencies, and subject to the usual accounting and auditing procedures. cDCEHa
Heads of all departments and agencies, including Local Chief Executives, Members of Congress and the Judiciary, are hereby encouraged to send participants to said National Summit.
This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately.
