Amendment to Administrative Order No. 2017-0008 Dated June 1, 2017
DOH Administrative Order No. 2017-0008-A amends the guidelines for implementing Republic Act 10754, which expands benefits and privileges for persons with disabilities. In light of the community quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the order allows for the dispensing of medications for up to three months instead of the usual one-month limit, except for antibiotics and controlled drugs, which must still adhere to stricter regulations. All other provisions from the original Administrative Order remain effective, with conflicting provisions rescinded or modified. This amendment is effective immediately.
