EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 861
AMENDING SECTION 3 OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 344, SERIES OF 2004 CREATING THE OFFICE OF POLITICAL COALITION AFFAIRS
WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 344 dated 09 August 2004, created the Office of Political Coalition Affairs, which shall address the requirements and objectives of the Office of the President towards the participation and support of the various political parties and groups behind the development and implementation of the administration's program of government; TIcEDC
WHEREAS, under Section 31, Chapter 10, Title III, Book III of the Administrative Code of 1987, the President has the continuing authority to reorganize the administrative structure of the Office of the President;
NOW THEREFORE I, GLORIA M. ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:
SECTION 1. Head of Office. — Section 3 of EO 344, Series of 2004 is hereby amended such that the Office of the Political Coalition Office shall be headed by a Director General.
SECTION 2. Repealing Clause. — All other executive issuances, orders, rules and regulations or parts thereof which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Executive Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.
SECTION 3. Effectivity. — This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
