PROCLAMATION NO. 1188-A
AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 1188 DATED 09 JULY 2021 BY DECLARING THURSDAY, 22 JULY 2021, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOS, IN CELEBRATION OF ITS INDIGENOUS PEOPLES 7TH BLAAN DAY INSTEAD OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLES 6TH BLAAN DAY
WHEREAS, on 22 July 2021, Thursday, the City of General Santos will mark the celebration of its Indigenous Peoples 7th Blaan Day; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of General Santos be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Thursday, 22 July 2021, a special (non-working) day in the City of General Santos.
Proclamation No. 1188 dated 09 July 2021 is hereby amended accordingly.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 16th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty One.
