COMMERCE ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 1-1
AMENDING RULE OF PROCEDURE NO. 2 OF COMMERCE ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 1, DATED JANUARY 11, 1946, ENTITLED "RECONSTRUCTION OF THE RECORDS OF THE BUREAU OF COMMERCE CONCERNING THE REGISTRATION OF TRADE-MARKS AND TRADE-NAMES, UNITED STATES LETTERS PATENT, BUSINESS NAMES AND STYLES, ALIASES USED IN BUSINESS, BULK SALES, AND COMMERCIAL FERTILIZERS; AND CONCERNING THE LICENSES ISSUED TO AMERICAN AND FOREIGN CORPORATIONS TO TRANSACT BUSINESS IN THE PHILIPPINES"
Rule of procedure No. 2 of Commerce Administrative Order No. 1, dated January 11, 1946, is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
"2. The form of authentication shall be:
'I, the undersigned _______________ a Notary Public in and for _______________, do hereby declare and certify as follows:
'I have personally examined the attached ______________ (Photostat, typewritten) copies of Philippine ________________ (Registration, license) No. __________, dated _________________ and compared the same with the originals from which they were made, and I state in my official capacity that the attached ____________ (Photostat, printed) copies are true, correct, and complete copies of the original documents.
'I further certify that __________________ (Name of officer) known to me to be the (president, vice-president, secretary) of ____________________________ (Name of corporation owning the registration or license) whose signature is subscribed below, made oath before me that the documents with which I compared the afore-mentioned _________________ (Photostat, printed) copies, as above stated, are the genuine original documents issued by the Bureau of Commerce, and that the authority or rights therein conferred have not been revoked or transferred to any other person as of this date.
'Given under my hand and seal this _____ day of __________________, 19___ in the City of ____________________, ____________________.

"The authentication shall be in accordance with Act No. 2103, when made outside the territorial jurisdiction of the Philippines: Provided, however, That in any country or place where there is a duly accredited and acting ambassador, minister, secretary of legation, charge d'affaires, consul, vice-consul or consular agent of the Republic of the Philippines, the authentication of the certificate of the notary public shall be made by any of such officials."
