RE: PROPOSED GRANT OF MID-YEAR ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE TO THE JUSTICES, JUDGES, OFFICIALS AND PERSONNEL OF THE SUPREME COURT, PRESIDENTIAL ELECTORAL TRIBUNAL, COURT OF APPEALS, SANDIGANBAYAN, COURT OF TAX APPEALS AND LOWER COURTS

Please take notice that the Court en banc issued a Resolution datedAPRIL 17, 2018, which reads as follows: HTcADC
"A.M. No. 18-04-04-SC (Re: Proposed Grant of Mid-Year Economic Assistance to the Justices, Judges, Officials and Personnel of the Supreme Court, Presidential Electoral Tribunal, Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan, Court of Tax Appeals and Lower Courts). — The Court Resolved, upon the recommendation of Atty. Corazon B. Ferrer-Flores, Deputy Clerk of Court and Chief of Office, Fiscal Management and Budget Office, to:
(a) APPROVE the grant of a Mid-Year Economic Assistance (MEA) at the rate of one (1) month basic salary but not less than ten thousand pesos (P10,000.00) to each of the following to be released not earlier than the last working day of April 2018:
(i) Justices, officials and personnel of the Supreme Court and Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET), chargeable against the respective savings of the Supreme Court and the Tribunal;
(ii) Justices, officials and personnel of the Court of Appeals (CA), Sandiganbayan and Court of Tax Appeals (CTA), chargeable against the respective savings of the said appellate courts; and
(iii) Judges, officials and personnel of the lower courts and Halls of Justice (HOJ), chargeable against the respective savings of the lower courts and the Supreme Court; and
(b) APPROVE the following requests pursuant to the resolutions dated March 25, 2014, September 23, 2014 and March 28, 2017 in A.M. No. 14-03-05-SC (Re: Revised Accounting Entries Proposed by the Commission on Audit for Constitutional Fiscal Autonomy Group [CFAG] Member-Agencies):
(i) Request for modification in allotment in the amount of Ninety-Three Million Four Hundred Eighty-Three Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-Six Pesos and Eighty-Four Centavos (P93,483,536.84) from the Continuing Appropriations of the Supreme Court to Other Personnel Benefits (MEA) — Supreme Court, to cover the funding requirements for the grant of the MEA at the rate of one (1) month basic salary but not less than ten thousand pesos (P10,000.00) to each of the Justices, officials and personnel of the Supreme Court, including HOJ personnel;
(ii) Request for modification in allotment in the amount of Three Million One Hundred Ninety-One Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-Seven Pesos (P3,191,967.00) from Lump-sum for Unfilled Position Account of the PET to Other Personnel Benefits (MEA) — PET Account, to cover the funding requirements for the grant of the MEA at the rate of one (1) month basic salary but not less than ten thousand pesos (P10,000.00) to each of the officials and personnel of the PET; HEITAD
(iii) Request for modification in allotment in the amount of Six Hundred Fifty-Eight Million Two Hundred Eleven Thousand Seven Hundred Forty Pesos and Forty-Five Centavos (P658,211,740.45) from Lump-sum for Unfilled Positions Account of the lower courts to Other Personnel Benefits — lower courts, to cover the funding requirements for the grant of the MEA at the rate of one (1) month basic salary but not less than ten thousand pesos (P10,000.00) to each of the judges, officials and personnel of the lower courts;
(iv) Request for modification in allotment in the amount of Seventy-Six Million Pesos (P76,000,000.00) from various Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) accounts of the CA to Other Personnel Benefits — CA, to cover the funding requirements for the grant of the MEA at the rate of one (1) month basic salary but not less than ten thousand pesos (P10,000.00) to each of the CA justices, officials and personnel; aScITE
(v) Request for modification in allotment in the amount of Sixteen Million One Hundred Seventy-One Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-One Pesos and Sixty-Five Centavos (P16,171,731.65) from Lump-sum for Unfilled Positions and various MOOE accounts of the Sandiganbayan to Other Personnel Benefits (MEA) — Sandiganbayan, to cover the funding requirements for the grant of the MEA at the rate of one (1) month basic salary but not less than ten thousand pesos (P10,000.00) to each of the Sandiganbayan Justices and personnel; and
(vi) Request for modification in allotment in the amount of Thirteen Million Seven Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-Eight Pesos (P13,735,278.00) from various Personnel Services and MOOE accounts of the CTA to Other Personnel Benefits — CTA, to cover the funding requirements for the grant of the MEA at the rate of one (1) month basic salary but not less than ten thousand pesos (P10,000.00) to each of the CTA Justices, officials and personnel."
