RE: PROPOSED GRANT OF A RICE SUBSIDY ALLOWANCE FOR THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2018
NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court en banc issued a Resolution datedMARCH 20, 2018, which reads as follows: CHTAIc
"A.M. No. 18-03-14-SC (Re: Proposed Grant of a Rice Subsidy Allowance for the First Quarter of 2018). — The Court Resolved, upon the recommendation of Atty. Corazon B. Ferrer-Flores, Deputy Clerk of Court and Chief of Office, Fiscal Management and Budget Office, to:
(a) GRANT a fringe benefit in the concept of a Rice Subsidy Allowance (RSA) to the following at a uniform rate of One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P1,500.00) per month or a total of Four Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P4,500.00) for the first quarter of 2018:
(i) Justices, officials and personnel of the Supreme Court, Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET), Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan and Court of Tax Appeals (CTA), chargeable against the respective savings from the regular appropriations of the said courts and Tribunal; and
(ii) Judges, officials and personnel of the lower courts and Halls of Justice (HOJ), chargeable against the respective savings of the lower courts and the Supreme Court; and
(b) APPROVE the following requests pursuant to the resolutions dated March 25, 2014, September 23, 2014 and March 28, 2017 in A.M. No. 14-03-05-SC (Re: Revised Accounting Entries Proposed by the Commission on Audit for Constitutional Fiscal Autonomy Group [CFAG] Member-Agencies), to wit:
(i) Request for modification in allotment in the amount of Eleven Million Nine Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P11,965,500.00) from the Lump-sum for Unfilled Positions account of the Supreme Court to Other Personnel Benefits — Supreme Court to cover the funding requirements for the grant of the RSA at the rate of Four Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P4,500.00) each to the Justices, officials and personnel of the Supreme Court and personnel of the HOJs;
(ii) Request for modification in allotment in the amount of Three Hundred Nineteen Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P319,500.00) from Lump-sum for Unfilled Positions account of the PET to Other Personnel Benefits — PET to cover the funding requirements for the grant of the RSA at the rate of Four Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P4,500.00) each to PET personnel;
(iii) Request for modification in allotment in the amount of One Hundred Six Million Nine Hundred Twenty-Nine Thousand Pesos (P106,929,000.00) from Unfilled Positions account of the lower courts to Other Personnel Benefits — lower courts to cover the funding requirements for the grant of the RSA at the rate of Four Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P4,500.00) each to the judges, officials and personnel of the lower courts;
(iv) Request for modification in allotment in the amount of One Million Seven Hundred Sixty-Four Thousand Pesos (P1,764,000.00) from the Lump-sum for Unfilled Positions account of the Sandiganbayan to Other Personnel Benefits — Sandiganbayan to cover the funding requirements for the grant of the RSA at the rate of Four Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P4,500.00) each to the Justices, officials and personnel of the Sandiganbayan; and
(v) Request for modification in allotment in the amount of One Million Two Hundred Fifty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P1,255,500.00) from Lump-sum for Filling of Positions account of the CTA to Other Personnel Benefits — CTA to cover the funding requirements for the grant of the RSA at the rate of Four Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P4,500.00) each to the Justices, officials and personnel of the CTA."
