MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 390

There is hereby created a Committee to conduct the necessary preparations to welcome and give due recognition to the returning athletes that took part in the 1996 Centennial Olympics led by Mansueto "Onyok" Velasco, Jr. Light Flyweight Boxing Silver Medalist, and other members of the Philippine delegation. The Committee shall be composed of the following:

 

Secretary, Department of Tourism - Chairman
     
Chairman, Philippine Olympic - Co-Chairman
Committee or his representative    
     
Chairman, Philippine Sports - Co-Chairman
    Commission or his representative
     
Secretary, Department of Interior - Vice-Chairman
and Local Government or his representative    
     
Secretary, Department of Education, Culture - Member
and Sports or his representative    
     
Secretary, Department of National Defense - Member
or his representative    
     
Chairman, Metro Manila Development - Member
Authority    

 

 

The Committee shall prepare an appropriate schedule of activities in preparation for their arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport including arrangements for their reception by the President at 10:00 A M. on Friday, 9 August 1996.
