Upgrading the Batangas Subdistrict Engineering Office of Lipa City into a Regular District Engineering Office

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9226
AN ACT UPGRADING THE BATANGAS SUBDISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE OF LIPA CITY INTO A REGULAR DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE TO BE KNOWN AS THE DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE OF LIPA CITY AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Batangas Subdistrict Engineering Office of Lipa City is hereby upgraded into a regular district engineering office.
SECTION 2. The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) shall promulgate the necessary rules and regulations to implement this Act. DaScAI
SECTION 3. The Secretary of the DPWH shall include in its program the funding requirements for the operationalization of the Batangas Engineering District of Lipa City in the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
* Lapsed into law on September 11, 2003, without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the Constitution.
