LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 445

WHEREAS, the Province of Ilocos Norte acquired for the use of the then Batac Rural High School three lots registered in the name of the Province of Ilocos Norte, two of which are covered by OCT No. 6863 with areas of 75,681 square meters and 33,369 square meters, respectively; and the other by OCT No. 58, with an area of 70,236 square meters;
WHEREAS, the Batac Rural High School was converted into the Ilocos Norte Institute of Technology under Republic Act No. 4084, and finally into the Mariano Marcos Memorial College of Science and Technology pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 614;
WHEREAS, pursuant to both legislative acts, the assets of the then Batac Rural High School were transferred to the Ilocos Norte Institute of Technology (Sec. 4, RA No. 4084), and finally to the Mariano Marcos Memorial College of Science and Technology (Sec. 17, P.D. No. 614); cd
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the school site of the College be registered in its name;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby direct that the lots covered by Original Certificate of Titles Nos. 6863 and 58 of the Registry of Deeds of Ilocos Norte be transferred in the name of the Mariano Marcos Memorial College of Science and Technology, Batac, Ilocos Norte.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 10th day of August, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Seventy-Six.
