Suspension of Work in Executive Department and Classes in All Levels in Metro Manila Due to Inclement Weather
Memorandum Circular No. 46, issued on June 11, 2018, suspends work in the executive department and all classes in Metro Manila starting at 3:00 PM due to ongoing inclement weather, following a recommendation from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC). Essential agencies responsible for basic and health services, as well as disaster response, are required to maintain operations. MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 46
Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in view of the continuing inclement weather, work in the executive department and classes in all levels in Metro Manila, are hereby suspended effective 3:00 PM today, 11 June 2018.
However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services, shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.
The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective head.
This Circular shall take effect immediately. HEITAD
