Support and Assistance to NEDA in Implementation of Updated Philippine Development Plan for 1984–1987

LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 1448

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 2369 dated 1 August 1984 approving the Updated Philippine Development Plan for 1984-87 and in order to ensure that the Medium-Term Public Investment Program remains consistent with, and supportive of, the objectives and policy framework of the Philippine Development Plan, the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) is hereby mandated to conduct periodic review, updating and revision of the aforestated Program as and when necessary, taking into account the relative priority ranking of projects, funds availability and changing economic environment.
All Heads of Ministries, Bureaus and Agencies of the National and Local Governments, as well as Heads of Government-Owned or Controlled Corporations, are hereby directed to provide maximum support and assistance to the National Economic and Development Authority in the performance of the function mandated herein.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 19th day of February, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five.
