SUPREME COURT OFFICE ORDER NO. 01-04

| RE | : | Submission to the Civil Service Commission of Lists of Judges and Court Personnel who have been Dismissed from the Service and of Lawyers who have been Disbarred |
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has embarked on the PROJECT DIBAR or the Database of Individuals BARred from Entering Government Service and Taking Civil Service Examinations, the brochure of which is attached as integral part thereof;
WHEREAS, the primary purpose of the project is to strengthen the certification process of qualified eligibles for placement;
WHEREAS, the project merits the support of the other instrumentalities and agencies of the Government, and such support will ensure the effective implementation of their resolutions or decisions imposing on officials or personnel within their respective jurisdictions administrative sanctions, which include cancellation of their eligibilities or disqualification from employment in any branch, instrumentality or agency of the Government;
WHEREAS, the Supreme Court has exclusive jurisdiction over the discipline of justices, judges, court personnel, and members of the Philippine Bar, and, in appropriate cases, may impose against them disciplinary sanctions such as dismissal from the service with disqualification from employment in any branch, instrumentality or agency of the Government, including government-owned or -controlled corporations, or disbarment, as the case may be; ESIcaC
NOW, THEREFORE, as expression of the Judiciary's support for the Project DIBAR, the Office of the Court Administrator and the Office of the Bar Confidant are hereby directed to cooperate with the CSC by furnishing it from time to time with lists of the justices, judges, or court personnel who have been dismissed from service and disqualified from employment or reemployment in any branch, instrumentality, or agency of the government, including government-owned or -controlled corporation, and a list of lawyers who have been ordered disbarred, respectively.
This Office Order shall take effect upon its issuance.
