SC-Declared Holiday on 23 December 2019
On December 16, 2019, the Office of the Court Administrator issued Circular No. 225-2019 informing all judges of first and second level courts about a holiday declared on December 23, 2019. This holiday is in accordance with a Supreme Court resolution and a memorandum from Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta. Despite the holiday, a skeletal force will be maintained in the courts to handle urgent matters. Judges and court personnel who work on this day will receive one compensatory day off.

OCA CIRCULAR NO. 225-2019

| SUBJECT | : | SC-Declared Holiday on 23 December 2019 |
Pursuant to the Resolution of the Court en banc in A.M. No. 18-08-21-SC 1 dated 28 August 2018, which provides for the 2019 Supreme Court Calendar, in relation with Memorandum Order No. 90-2019 issued by the Honorable Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta, with a proviso "that a skeletal force will be provided in the following offices," which includes all first and second level courts, all concerned are hereby INFORMED that 23 December 2019 has been declared a holiday in the Judiciary. However, there shall be a skeletal force in all first and second level courts to attend to and act on all urgent matters.
All judges and court personnel of first and second level courts who will render service on 23 December 2019 shall be entitled to one (1) day compensatory time-off.
