Court En Banc Resolution Dated 15 October 2019 in A.M. No. 19-10-20-SC (2019 Proposed Amendments to the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure)
OCA Circular No. 230-2019 informs judges and clerks of court regarding the Court En Banc Resolution dated October 15, 2019, concerning proposed amendments to the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure. The resolution, published on December 7, 2019, will take effect on May 1, 2020. It supersedes any previous circulars from the Office of the Court Administrator that may conflict with these new amendments. All concerned parties are required to comply with this directive.

For the information, guidance and strict compliance of all concerned, appended herein as Annex "A" is the Resolution dated 15 October 2019 of the Honorable Court En Banc in A.M. No. 19-10-20-SC(2019 Proposed Amendments to the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure).
The Resolution was published in the Philippine Daily Inquirer and the Philippine Star on 7 December 2019 and shall take effect on 1 May 2020.
Any prior circular from the Office of the Court Administrator on this matter which is contrary to the foregoing is hereby superseded.
