Republic Act No. 8463, enacted on January 19, 1998, establishes the San Luis National High School in Barangay San Luis, City of Gingoog, Misamis Oriental. The Act mandates the Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports to create necessary regulations for its implementation. Funding for the school will be included in the General Appropriations Act of the following year and thereafter. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on June 8, 1998.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8463

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY SAN LUIS IN THE CITY OF GINGOOG, TO BE KNOWN AS THE SAN LUIS NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1.  There shall be established a high school in Barangay San Luis, City of Gingoog, Province of Misamis Oriental, to be known as the San Luis National High School.

SECTION 2.  The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SECTION 3.  The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SECTION 4.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
