CHED MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 007-12
| SUBJECT | : | Amendment to CMO No. 29, Series of 2009 Titled "Revised Implementing Guidelines for the CHED Student Financial Assistance Programs (StuFAPs) |
In accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act (RA) No. 7722, otherwise known as the "Higher Education Act of 1994," and in view of the recommendations during the National Directorate Meeting dated February 14-15, 2012, that the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE) is for high school juniors and seniors from either public and private schools, a tool for career assessment and a potential guide to a matching course and a fitting future career, the lifting of the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE) Result as one of the documentary requirements in the screening, processing and ranking of scholars, grantees and student-borrowers for the various CHED StuFAPs, is hereby declared by the Commission, thus, the provisions of Section IV. Qualification and Documentary Requirements of CMO No. 29, s. 2009 is amended.
Further, item C of the said provisions will be read as follows:
"Ranking of Scholars, Grantees and Student-Borrowers:
The ranking of scholars, grantees and student borrowers shall use the following percentage distribution, such as: 50% — Form 138, 30% — Annual Income Tax Return or Certificate of Tax Exemption, 20% — Number of Siblings in the Family, with a total of 100%."
All other provisions of CMO No. 29, s. 2009 not otherwise inconsistent herewith shall remain in force and effect.
All CHED issuances, rules and regulations or parts thereof that are inconsistent with the provisions of this CMO are deemed repealed or amended accordingly.
This amendment shall take effect commencing AY 2012-2013. CSTDIE
