Revised Guidelines on the Submission of the Annual Report of Banks and QBs
On March 31, 2017, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) issued Memorandum No. M-2017-011, which outlines revised guidelines for the submission of annual reports by banks and quasi-banks (QBs). This memorandum follows the Monetary Board's Resolution No. 461, which mandates updates to the Annual Report Assessment Checklist (ARAC) to ensure compliance with new disclosure requirements. The revised templates for the ARAC apply to various types of banks and QBs, including universal, commercial, thrift, rural, and cooperative banks. All banks and QBs are required to adhere to these updated guidelines starting with the financial year 2017.

The Monetary Board (MB), in its Resolution No. 461 dated 16 March 2017, approved the issuance of the revised guidelines on the submission of the annual reports of banks and QBs pursuant to Subsections X190.6 and 4190Q.6 of the Manual of Regulation for Banks (MORB) and Manual of Regulations for Non-Bank Financial Institutions (MORNBFI), respectively.
Consequently, the Annual Report Assessment Checklist (ARAC) is hereby amended to align it with the revised disclosure requirements of the Annual Report. The revised reportorial template for ARAC for financial year 2017 and onwards is shown in Annexes "A" to "D".
