Renaming of Central Luzon Sanitarium in Tala, Caloocan City to Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital

Batas Pambansa Blg. 94, enacted on December 24, 1980, officially renames the Central Luzon Sanitarium in Tala, Caloocan, as the Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital. This change honors Dr. Rodriguez for his significant contributions to improving the lives of leprosy patients and acknowledges his role as the first director of the facility. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on March 9, 1981.

AN ACT RENAMING THE CENTRAL LUZON SANITARIUM AT TALA, CITY OF CALOOCAN, AS DR. JOSE N. RODRIGUEZ MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

SECTION 1. In due recognition of the outstanding services of the late Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez in the improvement of the lot of leprosy patients and as a fitting memorial to all the good things which he accomplished during his lifetime for the welfare and benefit of the said patients, the Central Luzon Sanitarium at Tala, City of Caloocan, of which he was the first Director, is hereby renamed Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital. asia dc

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
