Reiteration of OCA Circular No. 33-2003
OCA Circular No. 128-14 reiterates the requirement for judges and clerks of first and second-level courts in the Philippines to submit copies of decisions in all criminal cases to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). This reminder follows a request from the NBI indicating non-compliance by some trial court judges with previous directives outlined in OCA Circular No. 33-2003. The circular emphasizes the importance of adhering to established protocols to ensure that the NBI receives timely and accurate reports on criminal case decisions. The aim is to enhance cooperation between the judiciary and the NBI in the administration of justice.
