DILG MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 96-98

Hereunder quoted is Memorandum Circular No. 96-36 as follows:
"Pursuant to the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 6975, known as 'The Department of the Interior and Local Government Act of 1990,' the Undersecretary for Local Government is accountable to the Secretary for all matters pertaining to the local government sector of the department.
For sound policy management and operations, all internal communications concerning local government matters addressed to the Secretary shall be coursed through the Undersecretary for Local Government. Matters that require the immediate attention of the Secretary may be sent directly to the Office of the Secretary, copy furnished the Undersecretary for Local Government."
