ACT NO. 1302
AN ACT PROHIBITING THE SALE, GIFT, OR OTHER DISPOSAL, IN THE PROVINCE OF CAVITE, TO SOLDIERS OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY AND SAILORS AND ENLISTED MEN OF THE UNITED STATES NAVY AND MARINE CORPS, OF ANY OF THE SO-CALLED NATIVE WINES OR LIQUORS
SECTION 1. The sale, gift, or other disposal, in the Province of Cavite, to any soldier of the United States Army, Filipino Scouts excepted, or to any sailor or enlisted man of the United States Navy or Marine Corps, of any of the so-called native wines or liquors, such as "vino", "anisado," and "tuba," is hereby prohibited and declared to be unlawful.
SECTION 2. Any person violating the provisions of section one of this Act shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable for each offense by a fine not to exceed two hundred pesos, or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.
SECTION 3. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
