REPUBLIC ACT NO. 940
AN ACT TO EMPOWER MEMBERS OF THE CONGRESS TO ADMINISTER OATH OF OFFICE TO ELECTIVE PUBLIC OFFICIALS
(INOPERATIVE)
SECTION 1. Members of the Congress of the Republic of the Philippines are hereby empowered to administer oath of office to elective public officials.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
