BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 868
AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE PUNONG BARANGAY TO ADMINISTER OATHS OF OFFICE WITHIN THE PROVINCE OR CITY WHERE HIS BARANGAY IS LOCATED TO ELECTIVE PUBLIC OFFICIALS FOR THE PURPOSE OF QUALIFYING TO THE OFFICE FOR WHICH SAID OFFICIALS HAVE BEEN ELECTED
SECTION 1. The Punong Barangay is hereby authorized to administer oaths of office within the province or city where his barangay is located to elective public officials for the purpose of qualifying to the office for which said officials have been elected. cdt
SECTION 2. The Minister of Local Government shall issue the corresponding guidelines for the proper implementation of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
