Organization of Municipal Districts in La Union into Regular Municipalities
Act No. 3386, enacted on December 3, 1927, authorizes the Governor-General of the Philippines to reorganize the municipal districts of Sudipen, Santol, San Gabriel, and Pugo in La Union into regular municipalities. This reorganization is contingent on the Governor-General's judgment that it serves the best interests of the local inhabitants. Current officials of these districts will continue their duties until new officials are elected and qualified as per the Election Law. The Act took effect immediately upon its approval.

ACT NO. 3386
AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICTS OF SUDIPEN, SANTOL, SAN GABRIEL, AND PUGO, PROVINCE OF LA UNION, INTO REGULAR MUNICIPALITIES
SECTION 1. The Governor-General is hereby authorized to organize the municipal districts of Sudipen, Santol, San Gabriel and Pugo, Province of La Union, into regular municipalities in accordance with the provisions of chapter fifty-seven of the Administrative Code, when in his judgment such organization would be for the best interests of the inhabitants thereof.
SECTION 2. Upon the organization of said municipal districts into municipalities as provided in the preceding section, the present officials thereof shall continue to perform the duties of their respective offices until their successors shall have been duly elected and qualified in accordance with the Election Law. aScITE
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
