On May 9, 2007, the Honorable Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno, approved, as recommended by the Bids and Awards Committee for Office Uniforms for the Lower Courts, the optional wearing of office uniforms for the officials and employees of the lower courts beginning on May 15, 2007.
In lieu of office uniforms, all lower court officials and employees are required to wear "appropriate office attire" as defined in Memorandum Circular No. 06-2005 (re. Grant of Uniform or Clothing Allowance and Wearing of Office Uniform in the Judiciary). Strict adherence is required. ITAaCc
