Motorcycle Loans for Process Servers
On September 6, 2005, the Philippine Supreme Court approved a payment scheme for motorcycle loans under the Supreme Court Motorcycle and Computer Acquisition Program (SC-MCAP). This allows loan applicants to pay their monthly amortization through their share in the Judiciary Development Fund (JDF), capped at P1,000. Applicants can choose between salary deduction or JDF payment methods, which will be noted on a revised loan application form. Additionally, the payment scheme has been extended to court stenographers wishing to purchase computers.

RE: MOTORCYCLE LOANS FOR PROCESS SERVERS
RESOLUTION
The Court Resolved, upon the recommendation of the Office of the Court Administrator, to APPROVE the Judiciary Development Fund (JDF) Payment Scheme whereby the loan applicant pays the monthly loan amortization under the Supreme Court Motorcycle and Computer Acquisition Program (SC-MCAP) through his share in the JDF, provided that —
"(a) The amount of One Thousand Pesos (P1,000.00) shall serve as the ceiling in the payment of the amortization through the JDF — that is, if the monthly JDF share of the SC-MCAP grantee does not go below P1,000.00;
(b) The loan applicant shall have the option to choose the mode of payment he wants — either through salary deduction or his share in the JDF. The option may be reflected in a revised SC-MCAP loan application form; and
(c) The JDF payment scheme shall be extended to the court stenographers who wish to purchase computers under the recently expanded SC-MCAP. "
