LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 960

I have received reports that certain corporations, entities or persons have been violating the patent rights of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines as provided under Presidential Decree No. 720; casia
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby order and direct:
1. That the Minister of National Defense thru the Chief of Constabulary shall assist the Girl Scouts of the Philippines in apprehending corporations, entities or persons violating the patent rights of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines as provided for in Section 8 of Presidential Decree No. 720 dated June 2, 1975. cdt
2. That the Minister of Trade shall investigate corporations, firms and entities found violating the patent rights of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines provided for under Section 8 of said Decree.
3. That henceforth, the Minister of National Defense and the Minister of Trade shall see to it that these patent rights of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines on their badges, uniforms, insignia and other equipment are not violated by any corporations, entities or persons.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 21st day of November, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Seventy-Nine.
