Maintenance of Special Fund of Special Committee on Naturalization
Presidential Decree No. 736, issued on June 28, 1975, establishes a special fund for the Special Committee on Naturalization in the Philippines. It stipulates that all fees collected from naturalization processes, including form sales and docket fees, will not revert to the General Surplus Funds at the end of the fiscal year. Instead, these funds will remain as a dedicated account for the ongoing operations of the Committee and related activities. This decree allows for the continued processing of naturalization petitions without the constraints of fiscal year-end fund reversion.
