LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 723

In line with the concept of economy and efficiency in the development of infrastructure by consolidating the construction and maintenance of allied infrastructure under an agency possessing appropriate expertise and adequate capability in manpower and equipment, I hereby direct that the construction, improvement and maintenance of the following airports to be placed immediately under the jurisdiction, control and supervision of the Ministry of Public Highways:
1. Laoag Airport
2. Davao Airport
3. Cotabato Airport (Awang)
4. General Santos City Airport
The Philippine Air Force and the Civil Aeronautics Administration are hereby directed to turn over immediately all available plans and funds for these airports to the Ministry of Public Highways.
This Letter of Instruction amends Letter of Instruction No. 260, dated March 21, 1975, and shall take effect immediately.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 14th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Seventy-Eight.
