OCA CIRCULAR NO. 34-11

| SUBJECT | : | Inventory of All Kidnapping Cases Filed and Decided from the Period January 2010 to December 2010 |
There is a need to monitor and give special attention to all cases filed and decided regarding violation of Chapter I, Title Nine (Crimes Against Liberty) of the Revised Penal Code, as Amended.
In this regard, all judges and clerks of court of the first and second level courts are hereby directed to submit an inventory report of cases involving "Crimes Against Liberty" that were filed and/or decided covering the period 01 January 2010 to 31 December 2010. If decided it should be stated whether the decision is for acquittal or conviction; and, if for acquittal the reasons thereof.
Also, all judges and clerks of court are required to include in their report the total number of pending criminal cases for Crimes Against Liberty as of December 31, 2010.
Submission of the required report should be made on or before 28 February 2011, addressed to the Office of the Court Administrator through the Court Management Office.
