Increase in Funeral Benefit from P10,000 to P12,000
|
Pursuant to Section 13-B of Republic Act No. 1161, as amended by Republic Act No. 8282, a funeral grant equivalent to P12,000 shall be paid, in cash or in kind, to help defray the cost of funeral expenses upon the death of a member, including permanently totally disabled member or retiree for contingencies effective 24 May 1997.
