Republic Act No. 5769, enacted on June 21, 1969, increases the bed capacity of the Northwestern Leyte General Hospital in Calubian, Leyte, from 25 to 50 beds. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5769

AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF THE NORTHWESTERN LEYTE GENERAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CALUBIAN, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The bed capacity of the Northwestern Leyte General Hospital in the Municipality of Calubian, Province of Leyte, is hereby increased from twenty-five beds to fifty beds. cd i

SECTION 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry out the purpose of this Act during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy. Such sum as may be needed for its operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
