LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 979

To accelerate the attainment of the objectives of the National Grains Authority, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of the Budget, and all bureaus and offices concerned, are hereby directed to observe and implement the tax exemptions granted to the National Grains Authority in all its cereal importations including wheat and other equipment necessary for its operations, as provided for under Section 6(D) I, II, III, Presidential Decree No. 4, as amended by Presidential Decree No. 1485, and to exclude the National Grains Authority from the requirements of Section 23 of Presidential Decree No. 1177 and the rules and regulations issued pursuant thereto.
