Fraudulent Enlistment in the Philippine Constabulary

ACT NO. 1893
AN ACT DEFINING FRAUDULENT ENLISTMENT IN THE PHILIPPINE CONSTABULARY, AND PROVIDING THE PUNISHMENT THEREFOR
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to enlist in the Philippine Constabulary under an assumed name, or upon enlistment therein to make any willfully and intentionally false representation as to his nationality, age, parents, or guardian.
SECTION 2. It shall be unlawful for any person who has been dishonorably discharged from the military or naval service of the United States, or from the Philippine Constabulary, to enlist or reenlist in said Philippine Constabulary.
SECTION 3. Any person who shall violate any provision of this Act shall be guilty of fraudulent enlistment and, upon conviction thereof by a court of competent jurisdiction, shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or by a fine not exceeding five hundred pesos, or by both such imprisonment and fine, in the discretion of the court.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
