Forwarding of "Inherited Cases" to JPDIO in Abeyance
Supreme Court Administrative Circular No. 6-97, issued on May 14, 1997, instructs judges and clerks of court in the National Capital Region and surrounding areas to cease forwarding "inherited cases" to the Judiciary Planning Development and Implementation Office (JPDIO). This directive follows the phase-out of the JPDIO as outlined in a previous circular. Instead, these cases are to remain with the respective trial courts for resolution. The aim is to ensure that case management is handled at the local court level.

| SUBJECT | : | Forwarding of "Inherited Cases" to JPDIO in Abeyance |
In view of the phase out of Judiciary Planning Development and Implementation Office pursuant to Administrative Circular No. 4-97, dated April 1, 1997, "inherited cases" should no longer be sent to said office and should remain with, and be decided by, the respective trial courts.
